This Tour is based for a five night stay in Ypres at the central Novotel and focuses on the effects in Flanders of the 1918 Spring Offensive or Kaiserschlacht (Kaiser's Battle), a massive series of German attacks along the Western Front against the allies during the First World War. It began on 21 March 1918 and marked the deepest advances by either side since 1914. Of course, tour guide Siobhan McGinn will be on hand to share her latest research on Beer and the British Army in the First World War. Read more.
